Voter Registration

If you are
  • a citizen
  • at least 18 years old
  • have completed any felony sentence or parole
  • have not been declared mentally incompetent by a court
  • and have registered at least 15 days before an election
you are eligible to vote.

You must re-register to vote whenever:
  • you change your address
  • you change your name
  • you want to switch party affiliation
Registration forms are available at post offices, libraries and Department of Motor Vehicles offices in Los Angeles County, or at the League office:

1353 North Hill Ave, Pasadena
Weekdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • The form is already addressed and does not require a stamp. Fill it out, tear it off from the instruction part and mail it in.
  • You will be sent ballot information, including an application for an absentee ballot, before the next election.
You can also download a voter registration form from the internet (Note: 1.2 Mb file, slow on a dialup connection). In this case you will have to address it and provide postage.
